Sharon and Michelle will both be leaving at the end of August. Sharon will be going to America for a Three-month training course. Following this she will be home for a short while before hopefully returning to work in Uganda (funds permitting). Michelle will be working at a Pre- School. We wish them both well for the future.
Safiah is now on maternity leave and we wish her all the best for the birth of her baby.
Emma will be joining us in September working full time in the Starburst Room. Emma has experience working within a nursery setting; she has a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and is currently working towards a Level 4 in Children’s Care, Learning and development. Emma will be acting Room Leader from October when Katie goes on maternity leave.

Holiday Club
We have now started our Holiday Club for children aged 4- 11 years, which is running well. We will be running it during all the main school holidays. For more information please see Debbie.
5th Birthday
On the 1st September the nursery will have been opened for 5 years and we will be celebrating with a party tea. We are also hoping to book a children’s entertainer for the afternoon.
Room Trips
All the room trips have been successful, with everyone enjoying the variety of activities and experiences each location had to offer. Thank you to all of you who attended and helped to make them such a success.
Questionnaires

Decorating
Over the next few weeks we will be having several of the rooms re-painted.
Baby Room
Hopefully over the next few weeks we will be having an archway put in between the two babies rooms, which will give them a larger area to play in and explore.
