At Bright Stars we appreciate that a child’s first educator is their parents; therefore our aim is to work in partnership with parents on all aspects of their child’s care and development.
• Parents are encouraged to talk to the staff and discuss their child’s progress at nursery.
• Settling in visits are recommended. This aids the transition from home to nursery. This being the first opportunity to make contact with the staff and share your knowledge with their future key carer.
• Each child at Bright Stars is assigned a key carer whom is responsible for completing their developmental records and day to day care.
• Nursery Policies and Procedures are accessible to parents and they are located in the entrance hall. We also display notices of information that we feel may be useful to parents.
• Verbal feedback occurs between staff and parents on a daily basis at the beginning and end of their child’s session.
• We encourage parents to participate in any nursery outings that take place.
