At Bright Stars we value our staff very highly and all our staff have a wide range of experience and qualifications in childcare. Their primary role is to care for your child. All staff has a CRB check before joining our team. (CRB- Criminal Records Bureau).

Manager: Clair
Clair has completed her BA Honours in 1999, prior to this she completed a HND in professional studies in Early Childhood studies and a BA in Early Childhood Studies. Clair has been working in a nursery environment for over 10 years and 8 years management experience.

Deputy Manager: Chloe
Chloe gained her NVQ level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education in 2007 and has worked in a nursery for 4 years. She has had experience of leading a baby room. Chloe took on the role of deputy in February 2008 and is currently working towards a level 3 and 4 in management studies.

Nursery Nurse: Louise
Louise was one of the original members of staff from Primary Steps. Louise is a full time member of staff and works with Pre-School. Louise has a NVQ level 2 in childcare and education and is currently working towards her NVQ level 3.

Nursery Nurse: Donna
Donna was also an original member of staff from Primary Steps; Donna also works full time with our toddler children. Donna also holds a CACHE level 2 in Childcare and Education and is also working towards her level 3.

Nursery Nurse: Claire
Claire is also a member of staff from Primary Steps; Claire works full time with our babies and has a CACHE level 2 in Childcare and Education. She also is working towards her NVQ Level 3. Donna is on maternity leave from August 2008.

Nursery Nurse: Emma
Emma was also a member of staff from Primary Steps, Emma works full time with Pre-School. Emma has a NVQ level 2 in childcare and education and is also currently working towards her NVQ level3.

Nursery Assistant: Kelly
Kelly is also an original member of staff from Primary Steps; Kelly has a Level 2 Introduction to Pre-School Practise and works part time with our toddler children.

Nursery Assistant: Mayia
Mayia is also an original member of staff from Primary Steps; Mayia has a NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education. Mayia works part time with our toddler children and will be on maternity leave from April 2008.

Nursery Nurse: Kerry
Kerry joined Bright Stars in April 2008 and works part time with our toddler children. Kerry has a CACHE Levels 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education; She has lots of experience working with all age ranges and has been working in nurseries since 2004.

Nursery Nurse: Katie
Katie joined Bright Stars in April 2008 and works full time in our baby room. Katie has an NVQ in Childcare Learning and Development level 3 and is loocking into working towards her level 4. Katie has 3 years experience of working in a nursery endowment. 

Nursery Nurse: Kay
Kay joined Bright Stars in April 2008 and works full time in our baby room.

Nursery Nurse: Luise
Luise joined Bright Stars in June 2008. She works in a toddler room. She has a CACHE Level 3. Luise has had 5 years experience working in nurse.

Lunch Cover: Mel
Mel is also an original member of staff from Primary Steps, she works part time as lunch cover and is currently working towards her NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Development.
